Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement

Last updated: November 1, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and AltOps (“AltOps”, “we”, “us”). They cover the AltOps website at altops.co and the AltOps app at app.altops.co, including its AI agents and its integrations with other apps (together, the “Services”). They are also the end-user license agreement for the AltOps app on the Intuit QuickBooks App Store.

1. Acceptance

By using the Services, or by connecting AltOps to another app such as QuickBooks Online, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind it, and “you” means that company. Where a customer has signed a separate written agreement with us, that agreement governs and takes precedence over these terms.

2. License

Subject to these terms and to paying any fees that apply, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your internal business purposes during your subscription. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by AltOps.

3. Using the Services

3.1 Accounts

Give us accurate information when you register, keep your credentials confidential, and tell us promptly at kavish@altops.co if you think an account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to use the Services.

3.2 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • access systems or accounts you are not authorised to access;
  • distribute malicious code or interfere with the operation of the Services;
  • send spam, or harass anyone;
  • copy, resell, sublicense or rent the Services, or use them to build a competing product;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the source code of the Services, except as the law allows;
  • circumvent the controls we place around agent behaviour, including approval and escalation steps.

3.3 Your responsibility for agents

You decide which workflows to set up, which systems to connect an agent to, and where an agent must stop for human approval. You are responsible for the credentials you provide, for having the right to use the systems you point an agent at, and for the work agents perform on your behalf under your instructions. We provide activity history, live view, takeover and approval controls precisely so you can exercise that responsibility, and you should review the agent’s work for decisions that matter, including accounting and tax entries.

4. Third-party apps, including QuickBooks Online

The Services connect to apps provided by others, such as Intuit QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack and CommonSKU. Your use of each of those apps is governed by its provider’s own terms and privacy policy, and you are responsible for complying with them. You can connect or disconnect an app at any time in Settings in the AltOps app.

Intuit Inc. is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the Services, their content or their support. QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc., used here only to identify the app AltOps connects to; AltOps is not affiliated with or endorsed by Intuit.

5. Customer data

You keep all rights in the data you bring to the Services, including your recordings, documents and business records and the data in the apps you connect. You grant us only the license needed to operate the Services for you. We do not sell customer data and do not share it with model providers for training. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect and delete information, including data from QuickBooks Online.

6. Fees

Fees are set out in the order or agreement you sign with us. They are payable in advance unless we agree otherwise, and are non-refundable except where the law requires. We may change fees with notice; a change takes effect at your next renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including our software, models, interfaces and content, remain ours and our licensors’. If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation to you.

8. Support

We provide support by email at kavish@altops.co and aim to answer within one business day.

9. Availability and disclaimers

We work hard to keep the Services running and accurate, but they are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law permits. Agents act on real systems and can make mistakes; the approval and review controls exist for that reason, and you should use them for decisions that matter. The Services do not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the fullest extent permitted.

11. Term and termination

These terms apply while you use the Services. Either party may terminate as set out in the applicable order or agreement, and you may stop using the Services and disconnect any app at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached, or where continued use poses a security or legal risk. On termination your license ends, we stop processing your data, revoke and delete the tokens for the apps you connected, and delete your data within 30 days on request. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Services with reasonable notice.

12. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with at least reasonable care and use it only to perform under these terms. This does not cover information that is public, independently developed, or lawfully received from someone else.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top of this page and notify customers directly of material changes before they take effect. Continued use after an update means you accept it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which AltOps is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

15. General

If any provision is found unenforceable, it is severed and the rest of these terms stay in effect. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger or acquisition. These terms, together with any order or agreement you sign with us, are the entire agreement between us about the Services.
